Since we've got a new member and all, I thought it might be nice to have a small discussion topic. So, here's a question:

Date: 2011-02-21 12:30 am (UTC)When I first watched the show, I felt a lot like her, I didn't feel like I fit in a lot of places where I went, but she was always so cheerful and nice. And then she found her place and became an artist and it was awesome.
I wasn't too keen on the whole dying part, but what can you do?
I wish we'd gotten to see more female Cardassians. They had such cool hair.
Ziyal's nice shipped with Jake, but sometimes I think she'd also be a good match for Nog. What do you think?

Date: 2011-02-21 07:14 pm (UTC)He obviously loves being a mentor, and considers it important even though he doesn't see himself as part of the community on Deep Space Nine. He mentors Bashir, then Ziyal, and finally attempts to take Nog under his wing, though it didn't work out so well with Nog.
Given his attitude to violence in general and institutionalized violence in particular, he's not someone I would want to know in RL. (Nor would he be very impressed with my pacifism, I imagine.)
